Teletoon
Teletoon is the Canadian version of Cartoon Network, debuting alongside The Comedy Network and The Space Channel. There are two separate channels, one in French and one in English. Teletoon Retro started airing in 2009, providing nostalgic viewers with older cartoons. Teletoon at Night (9:00 PM to 3:00 AM) can be considered the equivalent of Adult Swim. The first thing an American viewer will probably notice when looking at the list of their shows would be the almost complete absence of any anime, although both versions have shown Cardcaptors, Bakugan, Spider Riders, and Battle B Daman at some point, with the French network also having broadcasted Pokémon[1], Digimon, Beyblade and Naruto. Otherwise you can just call the channel Cartoon Network, eh.
While the English and French channels started out with exactly the same programming, over time their schedules started to differ, with the English network getting some unique shows such as Robot Chicken and the French network getting dubs of shows otherwise shown on YTV and the Comedy Network such as The Simpsons.
It's nightly broadcasts contain the more "adult" animation such as Family Guy, Futurama and others (including little-seen or Too Good to Last shows such as Undergrads and Clone High), as well as whatever new show Cartoon Network comes out with. Expect Scooby Doo in the daytime, and various Canadian Content shows as well.
Teletoon is somewhat notorious for airing live action american movies, such as The Matrix however Canadian Content regulations prevent this from leading to Network Decay. (So far).
