Tekkaman Blade/YMMV
- Alas, Poor Villain: Pretty much all of the Radam Tekkamen.
- Crowning Moment Of Awesome
- Crowning Music of Awesome: The Teknoman OP. Epic!
- Sorry mate, I think you meant to talk about the original songs. Reason, Eternal Loneliness, and Masquerade.
- The American version definitely wins points for the Phantasy Star-esque techno vibe around the middle of the song. The Japanese songs have good composition, but whoever is singing sounds like she's doing so while stepping on a thumbtack. Sadly there's no fantasy theme, otherwise they'd have gotten Megumi Hayashibara to cover.
- As much as it's reviled by fans, Tekkaman Blade II had tunes like Reincarnation, Live Alone, Moonlight Angel, and Give Out Your Light.
- Fanon Discontinuity: Some fandoms just don't consider II canon.
- Iron Woobie/The Woobie: Takaya "Blade" Aiba. D-Boy? More like 'Poor Boy'... Also a Stoic Woobie and Jerkass Woobie.
- Macekre/Woolseyism: The U.S. dub, Teknoman. Oddly enough, it became an instant cult-fave, to the point that Tekkaman Blade II, despite being more faithful to the original material, was scorned.
- Memetic Mutation: While not nearly to the point of his predecessor's SPACE LANCE!, VOLTEKKA! and any corresponding joke about the number of microphones Toshiyuki Morikawa broke while belting these words out sees it fair share of usage. The appearance of both Tekkamen in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom only seems to have exacerbated this.
