Tastychainsaws
The one who started the multitude of Lucky Star/Fallout crossovers and the creator of several K-On! darkfics, Tastychainsaws has become known for his either cruel or insane stories that often result in someone dying.
It is an obscuring darkness, however. In reality, Tastychainsaws is a very friendly person, with none of the moody evil that is prevalent in his writing. One of his greatest muses is metal music, and he often plays a "guess what music Tasty was listening to" game at the end of his stories.
Tastychainsaws provides examples of the following tropes:
- Body Horror: A prominent element in many of his horror fics.
- Creator Backlash: He has often expressed regret that his less good stories get all the spotlight.
- Dark Fic: He's written many of these. If Sunshine wrote it, it is most likely either this or a crackfic.
- Fanfic: Of course.
- Fan Nickname: It was once noted that Tastychainsaws was being called "Sunshine" back in his schooldays. It never escaped him. Chainsaw-chan and Tasty are also used at times.
- Follow the Leader: After Falling Stars, several more crossovers between Lucky Stars and Fallout arose by other others (some of which are continuations of the original story).
- Gorn: Not uncommon in his writing. Once, a happy reunion ended with a person fainting, and not out of happiness.
- Gotta Catch Them All: Is working on a series of K-On Darkfics, one for each main character. Yui, Ui, Mio have been finished so far.
- Most Fanfic Writers Are Girls: Averted.
- One of Us: He reviewed Falling Stars himself.
- Playing Against Type: Reluctance, Closer to the Heart and The Price of Attention. Makes sense when you look at his other works.
- The Un-Smile: He claims to have one of these bad enough to make people lose faith in humanity.
- Tropes Will Ruin Your Life: He recommends shutting off the Internet while writing because of it.
- Yuri Fan: Likely, considering he likes and writes Yuri Genre fics.
