- How do characters who are always drawn in Super-Deformed art styles wash themselves in the shower, put their clothes on in the morning, etc.? It's way too easy just to make a Shrug of God. Due to the Animation Age Ghetto, super-deformed art styles tend to correlate with an "everyone" rating on the work, and "everyone" ratings tend to correlate with not having a Shower Scene, Shirtless Scene, or any other plot point that would bring to the surface the difficulties of personal hygiene. Even washing up while wearing modest swimwear tends not to get shown.
