< Stitch!
Stitch!/YMMV
- Broken Base: Many fans of the original series refuse to see this as canon due to it conflicting with the "nobody gets left behind" theme of the original.
- Fan Dumb: Alternative Continuity folks have a point, Disney did shoe horn an excuse early on. Time Skip people have a point, even as early as episode 1 there were clear signs it was going this route. Can we just get along now and admit for whatever reason Dr. Robotnik is now Eggman in all regions?
- Fanon Discontinuity: It's a lot easier to watch if one just pretends that it's an Alternate Continuity.
- Hand Wave: The explanations given in the English dub for why Gantu is evil again and other RetCons.
- Ho Yay: The Ho Yay between Jumba and Pleakley is possibly even worse than it was in the original--when they're "reunited" in the first episode, they reunite with a tearful embrace and much sobbing from both parties about how much they missed one another.
- In one episode, while Jumba and Pleakley are helping the postman deliver a letter to Yuna:
Postman: "So, how long have you two been married?"
- The English dub goes out of its way to exacerbate it.
Pleakley: Hold me!
- Macekre: The English dub.
- Replacement Scrappy: Yuna, for a fair amount of Western fans.
- Unfortunate Implications: Like in the original, Stitch is dating his "cousin" Angel. Easily ignorable, right? Except Jumba seems to know perfectly the implications, and says as much in the dub when Pleakley wonders if they'll get married.
Jumba: I get to give away bride and groom!
