Star Trek: Starfleet Command/YMMV
- Crowning Music of Awesome: The soundtrack of the first game was composed by Ron Jones. Who was, as mentioned on that page, fired from Star Trek: The Next Generation because the producers thought his music was "too epic". Highlights include the badass Romulan march, the tribal-retro Lyran theme, and pretty much everything else.
- First Installment Wins: Averted. Starfleet Command 2, Empires At War and Orion Pirates both, seems to be the version of choice for many players. Possibly due to how easily modable they are, and how they handle community models made for the games. That isn't to say the other two don't have their fans as well.
- Good Bad Bugs: And plain bad bugs. In SFCIII your wingmen will do things like charge straight into the middle of an enemy fleet or right at a starbase, sit back and do absolutely nothing during a mission, refuse to follow your commands, and if they stay with you for several missions they'll just up and self-destruct for no reason whatsoever.
- Moral Event Horizon: The Interstellar Concordium. Again. The Organians as well depending on how you look at it.
- Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Pick a television show, movie, comic, or game. Now pick a ship from it. Chances are there's a mod somewhere.
