Star Trek: Klingon Empire/Awesome
- Klag's greatest moment of awesome comes before the series even takes place, when he slays seven Jem-Hadar and their Vorta literally single-handedly at Marcan V.
- In the second book, Kornan gets a Dying Moment of Awesome when he forces himself to sit in front of a navigation panel and gets the Gorkon out of harms way, while a plasma conduit is blowtorching him alive! Considering that he spent the whole book being seen as a milquetoast, mediocre pussy of a Klingon and has some desperate I Just Want to Be Badass aspirations, even Leskit comments that he died well.
- G'joth spends much of the fourth book being VERY frustrated over how an opera he was asked to supervise drifts so far from "canon" it's basically In Name Only in his view, and the rant he finally unloads on the assholes and petaQ in charge at the end, especially given all the other shit they pulled on him, is very satisfying. Given that G'joth is rather good-natured and jovial for a Klingon, it comes off as a very Badass Beware the Nice Ones moment.
- B'Oraq's crusade to upgrade the Klingon medical system (to the point where it can be said to exist) gets a serious shot in the arm when she proves her most outspoken opponent to be a fool at a conference he doesn't bother to show up for after he signs off on a casual diagnosis that would have dishonored an innocent house. Chancellor Martok orders the current medical board disbanded and reorganized.
