- Hey, It's That Voice!: Claude in the Second Evolution remake? Spike Spencer, the voice of Shinji Ikari. And the Japanese version? Daisuke Namikawa, a.k.a. Ulquiorra Cifer. And in fact, that's not the end of it, for the remake...
- Rena in the Japanese version? Nana Mizuki a.k.a. Fate Testarossa. The US version had her voiced by Danielle Judovitz a.k.a. Chie Satonaka.
- Dias? Japanese is done by Tomokazu Sugita a.k.a. Ragna the Bloodedge, while English version is done by Kyle Hebert a.k.a. Kamina.
- Ernest had the usual stitch of 'Star Ocean title having Hiroki Tochi voicing a character'. His English voice, on the other hand? Terrence Stone a.k.a. Mayuri Kurotsuchi!
- Bowman's voices did two well known villains in both sides of the globe. The English version is Doug Erholtz a.k.a. Terumi Yuuki, while Japanese version is Keiji Fujiwara a.k.a. (Prince) Ali Al-Saachez!
- Playing Against Type: In the original, Japanese Claude is voiced by... Yuji Ueda.
- Bowman in the remake is actualy worse... but Your Mileage May Vary.
