Star Fox (series)/Awesome Music
- Corneria from the original SNES game is VERY catchy.
- Godspeed, the OCRemix version of the Corneria theme, is five minutes of pure unadulterated awesome.
- Star Fox 2: Especially Eladard. Godlike.
- Star FOX 64: Opening, Star Wolf, and Area 6.
- The Star Fox: Assault version of Wolf's theme ups the ante by adding a fantastic trumpet to the mix.
- The Brawl versions are also pretty awesome.
- Sector X
- For this troper the original Star Fox had a Crowning Credits Theme Of Awesome. It just feels EPIC, as if it was taken right from Star Wars. A true reward for beating Andross.
- Nintendo stated if this game doesn't sale well, no more Star Fox. If so, then at least it squeezed out the second credits theme. A true them to help face the fact that Star Fox series is done. And pretty calm too, like you are finally going to get rewarded for playing through the 7 planets and are finally taking a much deserved sleep.
- The original also kicks off in style with the first mission having one of the best action themes ever.
- Which also had an awesome cover in the Super Smash Bros. series.
- The Space Armada track also stands out. It's a tune that perfectly captures the adrenaline you would feel in a mid-space dogfight. This troper once used a midi for it for a powerpoint presentation about the history of videogames for a computer class in high school.
- Say what you will about Star FOX Command, but it has some incredible music. Leon, of all people, gets perhaps the game's best Leitmotif...but the theme used for the game's two secret unlockable characters, which emphasizes just how awesome it is that you get to use them, is a very close second.
- The utterly epic True Final Boss music. Holy CRAP. Though the standard Final Boss music isn't bad itself, being basically Oh Crap in musical form.
- The Star Fox 64 boss music. Short, but oh, so sweet.
- The map screen theme from Star FOX 64 is pretty epic, too.
- The unreleased Star Fox 2 beta gives us Eladard.
- No love for SF 64's Zoness or Aquas levels? They were this troper's favorites by far!
- The theme to Solar and Sector Y is very epic, as is it's remix in Assault, where it plays in the Sargasso Space Hideout.
- The theme to Macbeth and Titania really gives off a military feel.
- Let's not forget Starfox Adventures' amazing Krazoa Palace.
- Or the calm Gas Chamber.
- The Credits theme is simply epic.
- Though the final boss of the game suffers heavily from Disappointing Last Level, you wouldn't know it from the incredibly epic music used for that fight. The fact that Area 6 is played immediately after that track on the linked video, and that both tracks are equally epic, should be pretty telling.
- This Troper always found the music playing while fighting Drakor pretty awesome.
- Everything from Dark Ice Mines.
- And then the theme that plays when Krystal was captured. Beautiful.
- Cape Claw will always be this Troper's favorite.
- Assault gives us Space Battleground, which plays during the first half of Fortuna and the Orbital Gate missions.
- And then we have the second half of Fortuna. One of This Troper's favourite songs from Assault.
- This Troper feels that Assault had many epic themes, including the jaw-droppingly epic Aparoid Queen (Phase 1) theme.
