She-Ra: Princess of Power/YMMV
- Ambiguously Gay: Bow. Come on... someone had to say it. Just look at him!
- About the "ambiguously" part, right?
- Maybe he's Camp Straight... or Camp Bi, considering the Ho Yay with Prince Adam.
- ....And his rainbow owl and fabulous lady friends.
- Wasn't he always described as Andora/She-Ra's "special friend" - presumably in a sexual sense. And his name could easily be an Incredibly Lame Pun on the word "beau" (as well as being a direct reference to him being The Archer).
- Nope. While Bow flirted (with everyone), Adora's acknowledged sweetheart was the pirate Sea Hawk.

- Anvilicious
- Crowning Music of Awesome: The epic opening theme music - "I am Sheee-raaaaa!"
- Girl Show Ghetto: Interestingly avoided; most of the male audience who watched He-Man also watched She-Ra. But on the other hand girls didn't suddenly start liking She-Ra just because the main character was a girl. The toy line, however, didn't fare as well (see below).
- Misaimed Marketing: Toys were advertised more like Barbie than for an ass-kicking heroine.
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel: Horde Prime.
- Ho Yay: Bow and Adam, every time they're together, but especially in the Five Episode Pilot. Of course, all things considered, this should come as a surprise to no one...
- This scene was a great example.
Bow, very enthusiastically: May good fortune speed you on your mission!
Adam, suddenly looking very timid and uncomfortable: Well...thanks...
- There's also the way they ride a horse together...with their hips a little too close for comfort. Then again, Adam also rides a horse this way with his sister.
The Nostalgia Chick: "Fuck it, we're off to the pride parade!"
- Bow's costume is fairly camp, too.
- Les Yay: Fans like to think there's something beyond friendship between Netossa and Spinnerella, or that Glimmer's admiration of Adora/She-Ra has elements of Even the Girls Want Her.
- Smurfette Breakout: The series was actually introduced with this in mind.
- Tastes Like Diabetes: The And Knowing Is Half the Battle mascot "Loo-Kee", and the Twiggets. Any episode featuring them will almost certainly need to be followed by an insulin shot.
- The Twiggets weren't so bad. Loo-Kee though could get on one's nerves.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: The transformation sequence is grand, especially for the time and budget Filmation had to work with.
- Back to She-Ra: Princess of Power
