- Alternate Character Interpretation - Out the wazoo.
- For instance, "Calvin, reptile with a heart of gold ... or giant monster that wants to eat the planet?"
- Archive Binge or even Archive Panic - YMMV because though reading the whole of the site is at least on par with reading the whole of TV Tropes itself, it is not remotely necessary to understand the setting or any given event.
- Crack Pairing - Their Fun & Games forum contains a topic in which people do their very best to think up the most absurd pairing possible.
- Some have considered pairing Chad Wulf and Casimiro Alvarez. (See Foe Yay, and Love Dodecahedron, below.)
- Complete Monster - The character "Diamond Jack", a.k.a. "John Locke" manages to break a new Moral Event Horizon every few hours. The extreme sadism and Joker-esque motif don't help.
- Like You Would Really Do It - See "Death Is Cheap". In particular, there was that one storyline... (Though that one actually did scare a few members for a short while.)
- Even so, if someone kills off their character without mentioning the plan beforehand, it tends to come off as something of a shock.

- Tastes Like Diabetes - Here, to a creepy extent.
