Victoria, being an experienced mountain climber, would have had a lot of upper body strength. Why not hold herself on the rope with her arms to keep it from pulling on her hair?
- Shortly before the rope scene she complained that the cold had greatly weakened her hands.
What exactly is the purpose of showing the tribal chief/witch doctor on several occasions? Is his appearance a sign of impending doom for the expedition?
