Imagine a bearded late 40 something year old version of Lyonel, the rags he wears for clothing hanging off him like a savage. His wolf is long gone as he was forced to eat it when times were hard and he'd no alternative. All the golden owls seem to have slipped through his fingers by some cruel twist of fate with nary a feather to show for it.

Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Lyonel is becoming more likable as the comic progresses.
