SBB Brothers/YMMV

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Happens a lot.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Jafari and Jessica from Sims Big Brother 7.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny:
    • In Sim Edition 3, when Mariam baked a pie for Jill, she forgot it was in the oven and this caused her to light the kitchen on fire. Hilarity Ensues.
    • On Day one of Big Brother Sim Edition, Ada and Dustin lit the backyard on fire.
    • The Alarm clock task in Sims Big Brother 6 is just too funny for words.
    • The Santana's revenge on Griffin for refusing to empty the trash.
    • During the Solitary style challenges in Sims Big Brother 2, the houseguests are woken up at 5 AM by an annoying song that breaks the silence.
  • Elimination Houdini: A lot:
    • Sims Big Brother has a strategy of using these people to eliminate others during seasons with public voting.
      • Johnny was nominated a lot in Season 4 but finished in fourth after being eliminated over eventual winner C.J
      • Pamela in Season 5 was famous for this.
      • Latonya to a lower extent in Season 6, nominated quite a bit but not eliminated until the final four.
    • Sim Edition:
      • Pepper Williams - constantly gunned for, almost evicted, eventual runner-up of Sim Edition Season 2.
      • Jill of season 3. Constantly gunned for, #1 target since week one...but virtually ignored for bigger targets.
  • Flanderization: In Sim Edition, Jill became more or less the mean girl. In Sims Big Brother, George became the mean guy, and Monica became the mean girl. (Though granted, she actually was better written than George. In her exit interview, she states that she wasn't fond of women due to a Freudian Excuse, and if one notices, she was actually a bit more vicious to the women than she was to the men...except for Trey).
  • Old Shame: Both Simmer126 and Simsrealitynetwork admit that their early seasons flat out SUCK, when they had almost no creativity at all. It's likely for this reason that only two out of the twenty players of Sims Big Brother 4 made the cut to All Stars. (They weren't very well written).
  • The Scrappy: Albert in SRN's Big Brother 5 was a member of the Westboro Baptists Church and a raging homophobe who told Keegan he would burn in hell. He was so hated by both fans and fellow houseguests that he was nominated and evicted in week one. Even the drama-factor wasn't enough to save him.
  • Surprisingly Improved Sequel: Big Brother Sim Edition 3 is a HUGE step-up from the first two.
  • Super Couple: The mothers in Sims Big Brother Season 6.
  • Too Cool to Live: Roscoe in Sims Big Brother. Riley from Sim Edition 3 was also Dangerously Genre Savvy, too.
  • Wangst: Keri in Sims Big Brother 6, although this was played for laughs and part of her Character Development.
    • Pamela also rubbed several people the wrong way for this reason, too.
    • As did Pepper in Sim Edition 2. Heck, she cried almost all the time.
    • Nadia in Sims Big Brother 6. Although she is actually showing herself to be a lot less Wangsty from what we've seen in season 7.
  • The Woobie: Sometimes, Pepper in Sim Edition. Yeah, she cried a lot but sometimes she was just being picked on for...almost no good reason. (Jill at least had a reason to dislike her for how rude she was to other houseguests)
