Rose of the Prophet/YMMV
- Complete Monster: Averted; it's impressive that even a character as utterly evil as Auda Ibn-Jad, a man who is a slaver, an assassin, a conscienceless butcher and who thinks torture is a handy way to make friends, manages to avoid this through being unflinchingly brave, unswervingly loyal to family and friends, immeasurably faithful to his god and, to be completely honest, simply the coolest character in the series.
- Draco in Leather Pants: Yeah, but it's still important to remember that Auda is never a good person.
- Needs More Love: One of Weiss and Hickman's most overlooked and underrated series, but arguably one of their best.
- Too Cool to Live: Auda Ibn-Jad.
