Robert Sheehan
Robert Michael Sheehan (born January 7, 1988) is an Irish actor best known for playing the role of Nathan Young - a character he personally described as "a kind of James Bond figure...with a wank sock" - in the popular British sci-fi Dramedy Misfits. In early 2011 it was announced that he was leaving the show and would not be appearing in the third series (to the horror of many fans), presumably to pursue his movie career.
Also notable for his appearances in movies such as Cherrybomb, Killing Bono and Season of the Witch, a major role in Canadian TV series Young Blades, and lead character in Irish drug dealer drama Love/Hate.
Related Tropes
- Attractive Bent Gender: Played a highly androgynous gay prostitute in Channel 4's critically acclaimed Red Riding Trilogy.
- Big Ol' Eyebrows: Look at the size of those. Seriously, they even put Robert Pattinson's to shame.
- Bishonen
- Cloudcuckoolander: Can come across this way in interviews, with a trace of Lovable Sex Maniac thrown in - he single-handedly lowered the tone of the 2010 BAFTA awards by repeatedly mentioning porn in every red carpet interview.
- Green Eyes: Most definitely of the puppy dog variety.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Many of the characters he plays are this to some extent.
- Plucky Comic Relief: Often plays these kind of characters, too.
- Tall, Dark and Handsome
- Unkempt Beauty: Most of the time. It's Serious Business for his fans when he cuts or straightens his hair (even when it's for a role).
