• Christian Bale starved himself in an attempt to look as underfed as his character. However after seeing Matthew Mc Conaughey, he started trying to build his body too.
• A game was released shortly after the release of the film (notable for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions to get an M rating while the Gamecube version received a T). In the GBA version, the dragons were able to talk (!?!)
