Hey, It's That Voice!: In the dub, we have:
- Rei is Chopper, Ennis, Yue, Enma, Elsa, Silvia, and Cerebella.
- Gendo is Van Hohenheim, Huang, Sir Crocodile and Lord Death. Also, the original other Gendo - in the commentary, he even invokes The Other Darrin trope by name.
  - Oddly enough, Fuyutsuki is Father, Mao, and Sid.
- Ritsuko is Luffy, Gohan, and Lieutenant Hawkeye.
- Mari is Chao and Lan Fan.
- Kaji is FRANCE!
- Toji is Yusuke Urameshi.
- Kensuke is Negi Springfield (and had a brief stint as Kaworu).
- Pen-Pen is Nyamo, Bulma, Hyatt, and the other other Maya Ibuki.
- Last but not least, Kaworu is Russia, Claire, Pinocchio, and... Barry the Chopper??
- Meanwhile, in the Italian dub Mari is Lisa Simpson and female Ranma.
  - Even more hilarious if you consider that Viral, whom Mari seems to be channeling during the final battle in 2.0, was voiced by Milhouse.
Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Several comprehensive staff interviews make it clear that the writers had no idea what to do in 2.0 when they started writing the script, as this time they weren't just straight-up adapting episodes.
