Ralph Sepe Jr., better known as ralphthemoviemaker, is a filmmaker and film critic. In his reviews, he focuses on badly made Hollywood blockbusters, but also looks at awful independent films and ridiculous TV series. His scathing style of critique has attracted well-known fans like Armoured Skeptic, I Hate Everything and YourMovieSucks. He also co-hosts Sardonicast with the latter two.
Ralph's films are made with low budgets and center around dark and dramatic stories based on his life experiences.

- As the Good Book Says...: NICOLAS CAGE-A-THON starts off with Genesis's first sentences, about the creation of Earth.
- Market-Based Title: In NICOLAS CAGE-A-THON, among the reviewed films is Vengeance: A Love Story, based on the novel RAPE: A Love Story. Ralph adds:
"...Yeah, it doesn't really have a nice ring to it. I'm glad they went with Vengeance: A Love Story."
- Space Compression: In his review of season 7 of Game of Thrones, in the episode "Eastwatch", he complained about the use of the trope to move characters on a masive land in minutes.
- Standard Snippet: "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss plays in the intro for NICOLAS CAGE -A-THON.
- Take That: He lambasted Paul Schrader's ability to direct a film during his review of Dog Eat Dog, part of NICOLAS CAGE-A-THON. In the second part, Ralph apologizes for his remarks to the director in that review, having found his next film First Reformed to be the best of its year.
- Timey-Wimey Ball: In the ending for "Reasons TERMINATOR: GENISYS Sucks!! (Part 2 of 2)", Ralph parodies the convoluted time-travel plot of the film by invoking his own plot, with many Ralphs appearing in his room to stop whatever the other Ralphs are doing. The scene gets loudly chaotic.
- Top Ten List: Parodied. His top ten lists ("TOP 10 BEST MOVIES OF 2015!!!!" for example) are satirical and feature the opposite of what the list should contain, with insincere descriptions of the films.
- Trilogy Creep: Discussed in "THE MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE (Part 2: The Dark Ages)", during X-Men: The Last Stand's climactic scene.
"This is it. The Last Stand, I guess, so it has to be epic. This is The Last Stand until Days of Future Past. Then that's The Last Stand. This is The Last Stand and then the next movie is the lastest stand."
