Rad Racer/YMMV

  • Ear Worm: There's a fandom for all three tracks in the original game.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The original game is barely remembered in Japan, but did well enough in America that Square made a sequel specifically for the overseas market.
  • That One Level: Course 7 of Rad Racer II, "Twilight California", features lots more slow-moving traffic than in previous levels, which, when you collide with them, will send you spinning out without fail.
    • Course 7 of the first game as well. Not only is it late enough in the game that there's little to no room for mistakes, but you're regularly driving uphill, which means that other cars won't appear on-screen until you're just about to reach them.
