In the episode "A Night to Forget", Mr. Death owns a Death Note.

Before the start of the episode he wrote "Al April. Gunshot wound. On March 22 he is shot and killed by one of his co-workers." and "John H. Electrocution. On the night of March 21st he has a series of nightmares which convince him he will be shot and killed the next day. These nightmares drive him to shoot and kill one of his co-workers the next day. He is convicted of murder and executed on April 1st." His motive for killing is to ensure the success of his coffin making business.
