• Strictly Formula: In the first special, like Finding Nemo, Cars or Up theres always a team of one naive person and one grouchy person who work together, the naive one overly excited and later calling out
• Tear Jerker: Wayne's speech of how he hates his brother and wished how he never had one in the sequel. They get better.
• Unfortunate Implications: In the sequel, "Naughty vs Nice", one of the qualifications to be on the naughty list is to have bad grades at school. For any tropers who've struggled with school for one reason or another, this was not cool.
