Here's some additional knowledge about the 1985 version
- Hey, It's That Voice!: Cooler is voiced by the actor of G1 Bumblebee and Spider-Man, while Bright Eyes is voiced by Bart Simpson. And Katrina may be a Cruella, but she's voiced by Pat Caroll, who would go on in a few years to be Ursula.

- Head dog catcher Lenard McLeish is voiced by René Auberjonois, using a voice not entirely unlike the one he used for Odo.
- His mother Agatha is voiced by Betty White.

- Principal Prickly has moved up to become mayor.
- Spinelli's the Mayor's son ("A Nightmare on Pound Street"), one (allegedly) cursed puppy ("Taboo"), a sled dog ("Snow Problem") as well as the voice of other puppies in "The K9 Kid", "The Case Of The Squirrel Dog" and a number of other episodes.
- Gretchen, fittingly, was Toyoshiko.
- Niblet is John Dimaggio, who voiced another talking dog.
- Mr. Sulu voices dog trainer Mr. Julius.
- Fang might have once roamed around Beverly Hills.
- Carnie Wilson of the musical group Wilson Phillips provided the voice of the computer in "Toyoshiko!" as well as the singing voice for... Olaf.
- In "Bone Voyage", Gavin MacLeod voiced the captain of a cruise ship.
- Danny Cooksey voiced a puppy and the security guard in "The K9 Kid".
