Postal (video game series)/Characters
The Postal Dude
Your main character. Can be a lunatic or pacifist, your call.
- Actual Pacifist: Technically achievable in the second game, though very difficult to pull off.
- Badass: Even if he never kills anyone, just surviving all the batshit insanity of his own universe qualfies him.
- Badass Pacifist: If the pacifist run is attempted.
- One Man Army: Invoked, since it's basically the entire game world against the Postal Dude.
- Sociopathic Hero: Even as a pacifist, he has a very callous amount of respect for human life, even if he's not doing the killing.
- Deadpan Snarker: Over half of the Postal Dude's dialogue.
- Going Postal: The whole point to the game is to invoke this trope, though you can be a pacifist if you want.
- Heroes Love Dogs: He cares quite a bit about Champ, rescuing him is basically the plot of Paradise Lost.
- Henpecked Husband: The catalyst of the second game plot in fact.
- I Regret Nothing: His catchphrase, more or less. Standard line if you make him commit suicide.
- Pet the Dog: When he's given the chance to be a law abiding citizen and he isn't treated like shit, he can be a legitimately nice guy.
- Unlucky Everydude: Even as a pacifist, he never asked for the shit he has to deal with.
