• Broken Base: Viewers can't seem to unanimously agree if the Disney dub is better than the Japanese or inferior to it. You'll have to decide for yourself if you like it or not.
• Crowning Music of Awesome: Courtesy Joe Hisaishi as usual, most notable in the scene where Porco does aerobatics for Gina and Gina's resulting Flash Back.
• Hilarious in Hindsight / Values Dissonance: The pretty sexist attitudes of the men towards women as mechanics.
• Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped: "I'd rather be a pig than a fascist."
