- Peace On Earth was allegedly nominated for an Academy Award and a Nobel Prize.
  - The Oscars Web site^{[dead link]} confirms that it was nominated in the Short Subject (Cartoon) category. It lost to a Disney cartoon (The Ugly Ducking).
And then Hanna-Barbera did a Nuclear version, Good Will To Men in the 50s.
