Paul Blart: Mall Cop/YMMV

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Paul Blart, some scenes in the movie, particularly his "apology" after his unintentional drunk antics, struck this troper as being emotional blackmail and manipulation.
• Critical Dissonance: Though fans of the movie are quick to admit it's hardly a contender for the best movie of all time, it certainly didn't deserve the amount of panning certain reviewers gave it.
• Crowning Moment of Funny: "I BELIEVE IN MAGIC-!" *crashs through window*
  • "Nobody wins with a headbutt."
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: "Happy birthday, Amy!" Especially the dedication.
• Crowning Music of Awesome: The pounding classic rock songs used when Paul rocks out in the arcade, and later when he changes clothes.
• So Okay It's Average: One of the main criticisms directed at the film.
• The Woobie: Blart has elements of this in some scenes, especially the dating website scenes.
