Partially Kissed Hero/YMMV
- Alternate Character Interpretation: Dumbledore is a Complete Monster, Snape is a lesser monster and a magical pimp, Ron is just shy of being brain dead, etc.
- Arc Fatigue: The author interrupted his own narrative to dive into a series of side-plots and digressions that had absolutely nothing to do with the central story, including time travel, the space race, and now a fight with vampires. Several of the story's reviewers have used the phrase "gone off the rails", while other reviewers have said things along the lines of "lost sight of the original plot" about the author.
- Complete Monster: Dumbledore is made into this, but eventually his crimes become so many and so laughable he jumps the shark. Due to the sheer amount of Moral Dissonance, though, a good number of readers consider Harry to be this.
- Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy
- Designated Hero: Harry. See also: Moral Dissonance.
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel: Chapter 9. Snape tries Legilimency on Harry, only for Harry to rebound the effects on him, making him claw out his own eyes, breaking his mind, and finally making Snape's head explode, while he's screaming in complete agony the entire time. This is in front of a class full of third years.
- It Got Worse: You can map the mental breakdown, both of the Fic and the author chapter by chapter. It’s as horrible at its sounds.
- Marty Stu: Harry Potter. Of the God Mode variety
- Moral Event Horizon: Dumbledore is way past this apparently from the start to the point of ridiculousness. Harry crosses it in Chapter 9, when he kills Snape for the first time.
- Ron the Death Eater: Dumbledore and Snape in particular.
- Also Ron himself, in the standard 'stupid, lazy, sexist jerkass hired by Dumbledore to be a fake friend to Harry' incarnation.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot
- The Woobie/Unintentionally Sympathetic: Draco/a Malfoy. Apparently Perfect Lionheart thinks it's just desserts for Draco to be turned into a woman, forced into a breeding program where she has to give birth to TWENTY-FOUR CHILDREN, sired by Crabbe and Goyle's fathers who think BEATING THEIR WIVES ensures conception, and allow the other Purebloods to torture and abuse her repeatedly because thanks to Harry's machinations she has no title, no money, no last name or family. It's thus understandable why she's more than willing to become a fanatical killer like Bellatrix to escape the breeding contracts so she can't be raped or abused anymore.
- Villain Decay: Voldemort and the Death Eaters, principal antagonists of the original books, are reduced to a mere sideshow of the overarching Dumbledore-versus-Harry conflict in this fic.
- In fairness, the fic starts with Harry absorbing all of Voldemort's memories, thus being able to (for one) take out all but the missing one of his horcruxes offscreen, and Dumbledore is able to destroy him effortlessly in a fight and is a consummate Puppet Master--so his marginalization makes some story sense given his huge disadvantages to both the other parties.
