Basic Trope: When a character acts out of character, it is Serious Business.

  • Straight: When Angelo makes one too many rude remarks, the calm and stoic Bob loses his temper and yells at him, shocking Angelo and everyone else watching.
  • Exaggerated: Bob goes Ax Crazy and tears Angelo's head off.
