Everyone in Ari's family is dead.
That's why their house is known as the "Nameless Residence". They live next to a cemetery, where their bodies are buried. The reason there's webs and cloths over the furniture is because nobody lives there, and it is haunted by Ari's family, so nobody would move into the house. Ari might be the only one alive in his family, but he is so overshadowed so that's why nobody would come over to visit him.
