• He's Just Hiding: ...Or not. The fae sometimes confuse death with a long nap. But that's justified given these are the people who put Rip Van Winkle to sleep, along with the fact that the purebloods are immortal.
  • Don't forget elfshot, which puts purebloods to sleep for a hundred years if they're shot with it. Too bad it's usually fatal to anyone not a pureblood...which might be overlooked by some folks who shoot them.
• Informed Attribute: The Luidaeg doesn't really do anything that scary.
• Tear Jerker: Quentin having to give up his first love in order to allow her to live a sane and peaceful life after what Blind Michael did to her.
  • And in One Salt Sea: Toby having to give her daughter Gillian the Changeling's Choice, and because of past history, which choice Gillian makes.
