• Anvilicious - In the Sunday features, Nemi will often deliver long, self-righteous speeches on everything that is wrong with this world. Basically, what seems to be wrong is that most people aren't like her. (Considering how awesome she is, that's a fair point.) But at times it ends up in Lampshading on how bratty she's being.
• Draco in Leather Pants - Nemi has a crush on The Phantom Blot.
  • One strip had a Jail Bait Wait example of this with the Trope Namer.
• Relationship Sue: At first, Nemi's steady boyfriend Grim seemed to a bit of a snarker, but otherwise the perfect man for her. Then it was revealed that he's a sports fan.
• Tear Jerker: One comic begins with one of Nemi's friends asking her if she's feeling alright, so she smiles and says, "Yes!" She then sits alone with a solemn expression. As the comic ends with Nemi unable to find anyone willing to listen to her problems, she sheds a Single Tear.
• Uncanny Valley: The way Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio looked in the comic where Nemi changed the ending of Titanic.
