Naughty Dog
Naughty Dog is an American video-game company owned by Sony Computer Entertainment, responsible for many hit franchises for the various iterations of Sony PlayStation. Let's just say that Sony owes these guys. Big time.
- Crash Bandicoot, for PlayStation, the console's de facto mascot. NDI nurtured and developed Crash until Crash Team Racing, then sold the franchise.
- Jak and Daxter, for PlayStation 2.
- Uncharted, for PlayStation 3, one of the system's top selling and most acclaimed franchises.
- The Last of Us for Playstation 3, announced for a 2013 release.
Naughty Dog has something of a sister company in the form of Insomniac Games. Both companies started out working in the same building, and even produced every similar games around the same times. Just to illustrate: Naughty's Crash Bandicoot and Insomniac's Spyro the Dragon, Naughty's Jak and Daxter and Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank. As far as game companies can go, these guys are pretty much the tightest of bros, though also sharing a Friendly Rivalry.
