  • Fan Dumb: An example of the Japanese taking Seiyuu a bit too seriously: One Christmas Eve, which, for those who don't know, is regarded as more of a romantic holiday than a family-oriented one in Japan, a lot of (needless to say, single) otaku stayed up on the internet tracking their beloved seiyuu's twitters, blogs, etc., to ensure that they weren't out galavanting with other men - when Mizuki failed to tweet that entire night, the fans "black listed" her (which lead to no serious consequences) for the slight possibility that just because she wasn't tweeting her plans for the night, she might be on a date with someone. Which would have been perfectly okay anyway.
  • Tear Jerker: When she had her Live Diamond 2009 Concert, her father, who doubled as her inspiration to start singing, had passed away just the previous November. Near the end of the concert, she was going to talk about him before starting her song, but could not stop from crying in the middle of the segment. Her fans all cheered for her, including cries of "Gambatte!" ("You can do it"/"Don't give up"/etc.) Once the MC segment was over, she performed Yume no Tsuzuki with tears in her eyes. Considering that particular song's lyrics and the fact that she wrote it herself, this performance comes of less as a part in a larger concert and more of a "Thank you" to her late-father and a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming as well.
