Naked People Are Funny/Playing With
- Basic Trope: Nudity Played for Laughs
- Played Straight: Bob is naked and going about his business.
- Exaggerated: Bob is hairy, fat, and ugly.
- Justified: Bob is a naturist.
- Bob is a streaker.
- Inverted: Bob actually looks good.
- The nudity is not Played for Laughs, but meant to be symbolic, as in an Out-of-Clothes Experience.
- Bob is the only one dressed, when everyone else is completely nude.
- Subverted: Bob is naked, but censored by an object.
- Double Subverted: The object only draws more attention to his nudity.
- Parodied: See "exaggerated", and expect it to be lampshaded by multiple characters.
- Bob is walking around with a Censor Bar or Digital Bikini or other means of censoring. Bonus points if he had Barbie Doll Anatomy to begin with.
- Bob is naked in a place (like, say, a conservative church in the Deep South during Sunday service) where it normally wouldn't be acceptable. Everyone reacts as if Bob just crossed the Moral Event Horizon.
- People are shocked to discover that Bob takes his baths naked!
- Deconstructed: Bob wonders why everyone is laughing at him.
- Reconstructed: Bob starts covering up in public, unless it's acceptable to be naked, such as a nude beach.
- Zig Zagged: Sometimes, nudity is played for laughs, other times it's not.
- Averted: Bob remains fully clothed throughout the series or movie. (Or gets, at worst, a Shirtless Scene.)
- Enforced: The writer wants to create an awkward situation in a Sitcom.
- Lampshaded: "Alice, there's a naked man sitting on your porch swing!"
- Invoked: Bob is visiting a town with a reputation for being so laid-back as to not begrudge public nudity. He does not pack any clothes, and proceeds to strut his stuff.
- Defied: Bob is on a nude beach, and is too shy to take his clothes off.
- Discussed: "What is it about nudity that people find so hilarious?"
- Played For Drama: A prank makes Bob stand naked in the middle of a crowd, everyone laughs but Bob is crying and seriously traumatized about the whole experience, later the complete lack of compassion and constant teasing causes him to become depressed and withdraw from friends and family.
- or he loses it and hijacks the nuclear plant.
- Conversed: "Ever wonder why all these new comedies keep featuring naked people?"
