After a few samples, you will be able to judge whether you might be interested in the 'fic, based on who recommended it. No-name recommendations will be Zapped (wiki). Nobody would back up the rec. In Your Eyes, by Bantha-Fodder
- Recommended by Roach Patrol
- Synopsis: It's about Valentine coming into his own at the circus, and Helena, as she waits for him. It's a romance fic if you want to look at it that way, a gen fic about two people who already know each other from somewhere if you don't want to.
- Comments: This is my hands-down favorite Mirror Mask fic, which I guess isn't really saying much because there's so little fic out there. Regardless, it's nearly as dreamy and eerily-evocative as the movie, and makes me smile.
Getting Lost is Easier Than Loosing Your Mind, by Bantha-Fodder
- Recommended by Roach Patrol
- Synopsis: This is by the same author, is a bit more plotty, and crosses over with Constantine and Sandman, as Valentine and Helena are assigned a quest.
- Comments: It helps to have read the other books, but not necessary.
