Milo Yiannopolous is a British journalist who formerly wrote for the Breitbart News Network. His political views are highly conservative, and are usually delivered with dripping sarcasm, especially when criticizing liberal positions.
Although formerly antagonistic to gamers, he has since become an advocate of Gamergate, even agreeing to have his voice and likeness appear as a character in Postal 2, and has written his own game, Journalism Quest, in the Twine engine.
His writing on Breitbart can be found here.
Milo Yiannopoulos provides examples of the following tropes:
- Berserk Button: Has professed a profound dislike of Celine Dion.
- Camp Gay: Exaggerated. He is openly gay in real life, though he tends to play it up for comedy in his editorials.
- The Charmer: A noted attribute of his amongst his fans.
- Deadpan Snarker: His writing drips with snark, either for comedic impact or for use to criticize a political/social position he finds absurd.
- Gay Conservative: Yep. And an unashamed one.
- Jerkass: Exaggerated, especially when he writes satire or criticism. Has been reported to be much nicer in person.
- Mean Character, Nice Actor: Again, applies to his online persona.
- One of Us: He's very much in tune with internet pop culture, especially dank memes.
