Michael Jackson/Awesome
Moments
- Let's face it, all his concerts are AWESOME (as well as his 30th Anniversary Special). Even his dress rehearsal for his non-existent final tour is AWESOME.
- Thriller is the best-selling musical album of all time. That is one hell of an achievement.
- He yelled "fuck you" at a paparazzo for shunting a fan aside. That's it, he was a total BAMF.
Music and videos
- Most of his songs. Even his last album, Invincible -- while easily his worst -- has several superb songs on it that we only wish others could adequately perform, let alone his larger than life 1980s songs.
- Jackson's music pretty much WAS the music of the '80s if you weren't a metalhead, and most likely helped inspire or kickstart a few new musical genres on its own.
- Blame It on the Boogie (actually The Jacksons), proof that disco can be good.
- Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough.
- Rock With You. More great disco/post-disco.
- The Girl Is Mine. With Paul McCartney!
- Thriller goes without saying.
- Beat It, especially the Epic Riffs and guitar solo courtesy of Eddie Van Halen.
- Two songs recorded with the great Freddie Mercury, but never released: State of Shock (later released by The Jacksons with Mick Jagger) and There Must Be More to Life than This. What Could Have Been...
- P.Y.T.
- The Way You Make Me Feel.
- It's Awesome Music as it is, but the video for Smooth Criminal is easily one of his best. Especially that anti-gravity lean.
- Black or White and its great music video.
- Remember the Time and its great video.
- Jam, a lesser-known song.
- Scream, in the expensive spaceship with Janet Jackson.
- Stranger in Moscow, another lesser-known song from later in his career.
