Marla Mason
The Marla Mason series by T.A. Pratt is an Urban Fantasy set around the Marla Mason character, the ruling sorceress of Felport, as she struggles to save her home from insane reweavers, bloodthirsty Aztec gods and Death itself.
The series has ten books so far:
- Blood Engines (2007): The first book, which, paradoxically, was set not in Felport but in San Francisco. It features frogs. Lots of frogs.
- Poison Sleep (2008)
- Dead Reign (2008)
- Spell Games (2009)
- Broken Mirrors (2010): Written in response to the massive Cliff Hanger of the fourth book. Available for free here.
- Grim Tides (2011): Available for free here.
- Bride of Death (2013)
- Lady of Misrule (2015)
- Queen of Nothing (2015)
- Closing Doors (TBA)
Prequels:
- Bone Shop (2009). Self-published after Pratt's publisher dropped him. It details Marla's Rags to Riches story as she ascends through the ranks of Felport's magical elite. Available for free here.
- Haruspex (2009)
- Pale Dog (2011)
- Mommy Issues of the Dead (2011)
- "Ill Met In Ulthar" (2012)
