  • While drinking one's own piss is a (flawed) survival tactic, if you're in a place with no clean fresh water, a number of pictures on Memebase among other places put him in situations where he seems to be doing it for no apparent reason at all. To wit:
    • "Sun's going down... better drink my own piss."
    • "Lock keys in car. DRINK OWN PISS."
    • "Just drank my own piss. Better drink my own piss."
    • "Finally found fresh. Add packet of powdered piss."
    • "Unable to urinate. Better drink my- Oh God."
• Never Live It Down: As noted in the example above, Grylls is known for drinking his own urine and nothing else.
  • At least he's a good sport about it.
