Mai-HiME Destiny/Fridge

Some fans of Mai-HiME Destiny thought the explanation for Mayo putting her clothes on over her handcuffs was a bit of an Ass Pull, but others found it to be an example of Fridge Brilliance. She does it by telekinetically "warping" her shirt onto her body. As in, she moves it so fast that it passes through her body, and then stops it at the appropriate location. It definitely sounds like a horribly botched Author's Saving Throw... until, later on, Mayo uproots a giant tree. And then you realize, it's not an Ass Pull. It's Foreshadowing. She's that good.
