MIQ
"Attack! Attack! Attack! I am the warrior!"
Her real name is Hiroko Kadomoto (門本 浩子) but fans know her as MIQ, a female music artist from Japan.
Her debut song is "HEY YOU" from Yoshiyuki Tomino series Xabungle, and since then she has been a prevalent singer of Opening and Ending themes for Mecha (Real Robot and Super Robot) anime. You can hear her Crowning Music of Awesome in Aura Battler Dunbine, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Sei Juushi Bismarck, Area 88, and GaoGaiGar FINAL. She also sings an insert theme for Juken Sentai Gekiranger.
You get it? If not, GET IT NOW!
Her singing quality can be best expressed as "passionate and elegant". No surprise since Aretha Franklin (The Queen of Soul), Anita Baker, and Chaka Khan are her inspirations to her vocal style. Listen to STARDUST MEMORY's "MEN OF DESTINY" and Aura Battler Dunbine's "Dunbine Tobu" for good examples.
In 2003, she changed her name from MIO.
Last but not least, she is fluent in English.
