- Bad Export for You: The US editions of the later books were shortened, in some cases removing vital paragraphs... and giving the wrong pages to logic puzzle answers.
- Screwed by the Publisher: The reason only 28 books of a planned 32 were published, and the 28th remained incomplete. However...
- Uncancelled: The series is currently being reprinted in revised editions by the British games publisher Mongoose, and there are plans for it to include all 32 books.
