Kindness from Strangers
"I just realized this plan works a lot better with single people."—Audrey (from "My Eliza")
Kindness from Strangers is a series of generally self-contained short stories in which common themes are: Fantasy, Equality, Intelligence, Angst, and Idealism. Updated once every other Thursday with a new, complete piece.
The title has absolutely nothing to do with the classic play A Streetcar Named Desire.
Tropes used in Kindness from Strangers include:
- Author Appeal
- Author Avatar: Audrey, and likely several more.
- Double Standards: Note the theme "Equality".
- Men Are Uncultured: Note the theme "Intelligence".
- Sliding Scale of Idealism vs. Cynicism: Note the last two themes.
