Keith David/Heartwarming

• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming - This Troper had the pleasure of meeting him at the very last Gathering of the Gargoyles convention, and talking with him at length in his "Mug-A-Guest" meeting, and several times through the con after that. He proved (or at least seemed, very convincingly and consistently) to be one of the most genuinely warm, wise, and gentle human beings she's ever met. It might be an attribute to his excellent, uh, ACTING SKILLS... but it was truly one of the CMOH/CMOA of her life, and she will never, ever forget how for just for a while, even though it was the Last Convention Ever, and everything seemed awful and over and Ruined Forever... just by getting to talk to him and hug him and tell him thank you for making me feel safe, when I was a scared, sad little kid, I can't ever say how important you are to me... he just MADE EVERYTHING OKAY.
