Keeley Hawes
British actress, born in London in 1976.
One of her earliest roles was playing a young Diana Dors (a British actress, comparable in some regards to Marilyn Monroe) in a 1999 Made for TV Movie called Blonde Bombshell.
Hawes' big break, though, was her role as Zoe Reynolds in Spooks. During this time, she fell in love with Matthew Macfayden, her co-star, split from her husband of eight weeks (she'd already had a kid with him) and married Macfayden.
In 2002, she appeared in Tipping the Velvet, an adaptation of a novel. Let's just say a Yuri Fanboy would enjoy it.
Her most recent roles of note are:
- DI Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes.
- The voice of Lara Croft in the Crystal Dynamics games.
- DSI[1] Martha Lawson in Identity.
Currently the face of Boots No7 cosmetics.
- ↑ Detective Superintendent
