Kedamono Damono

A romantic comedy Shoujo manga by Haruka Fukushima. The series focuses on Konatsu Narumiya, a high school freshman who manages her school's basketball team. When Konatsu goes to look for Haruki, a member of the basketball team, she finds out that he turns into a perverted girl at night. Haruki-as-a-girl then sexually harasses her, they wake up in the same bed, and Haruki admits that he knows Konatsu has a crush on the team captain. Long story short, the captain turns out to be a jerk, so Konatsu decides to go out with the ultimately well-meaning Haruki. Hijinks ensue.

The series was licensed by Tokyo Pop, but seems to be out of print.

Tropes used in Kedamono Damono include:

• Ahoge: Haruki.
• Attempted Rape: Konatsu has horrible luck with guys; every one of them save Haruki has tried this on her. Luckily Haruki is there to bail her out, usually as a girl.
• Attractive Bent Gender: Haruki turns into a blond bombshell. His siblings don't look so bad either, and nor does Konatsu as a boy.
• Belligerent Sexual Tension: Konatsu and Haruki constantly bicker over everything.
• Bi the Way: Konatsu.
• Catch Phrase: "I can't control my urges," and "You're a beast!"
• Chained Heat: When Konatsu as a boy becomes uncontrollably horny, Megumi and Ryou decide to handcuff her to Haruki and lock them in a room. Nothing actually happens, but they do spend the rest of the chapter handcuffed.
• Ecchi: As a result of girl Haruki's utter shamelessness.
• Friendly Local Chinatown: Haruki and Konatsu go here since Konatsu caught Haruki's special condition, and doesn't want to go back home until she's cured.
• Gag Boobs: The general joke is that Haruki, ostensibly a boy, has bigger breasts than Konatsu.
• Gayngst: Mostly averted. Konatsu mentions that she found herself more attracted to the female version of Haruki, though it doesn't seem to bother her too much. Then when Konatsu turns into an equally lascivious boy, Haruki panics and says he doesn't want to kiss another boy. He takes it back, but by that time Konatsu reverts to being a girl.
• Gender Bender: Obviously Haruki, and also Haruki's younger brother, Megumi, and older sister, Ryou. Konatsu temporarily becomes a boy later on.
• Get a Hold of Yourself, Man!: Ren to Haruki, after Konatsu starts dating Jun. He may not have convinced the male Haruki, but female Haruki rushes straight to where Konatsu and Jun are afterwards.
• Girls Love: The If It's You It's Okay sort, and a lot of it for a shoujo manga.
• Godiva Hair: Girl Haruki, who oftens ends up bare-chested for one reason or another.
• Hot for Student: A couple of the teachers. Neither Konatsu nor Haruki return their affections.

• I Just Want to Be Normal: Haruki. Occasionally he wonders whether he'd be better off as a girl.
