• Awesome Music - The main theme to the show. ...which has been removed since the Bubsy review.
• Non Sequitur Scene - Jon's stock and trade. The biggest one comes at the end of his Dino City review; for no reason at all, he sings Katy Perry's 'Fireworks'. The whole thing, or nearly so. And, yes, he does reenact that scene from her video.
  • To Jon's credit, he does seem to have a decent set of pipes.
• Ho Yay: The Spoony x AVGN photoshop from the Dino City review.
• Replacement Scrappy - In Jon's opinion, the Tiki Tak Tribe are this, having replaced the Kremlings. He describes the villain of Donkey Kong Country Returns as "a plank of fuckin' wood" at least twice.
• Waggle - Mocked in the Donkey Kong Country Returns review.
• What Do You Mean It Wasn't Made on Drugs?: A lot of Jon's videos are like this. He made a theory in his Sonic R review that the developers was high while making the game.
