It Conquered the World/YMMV
- Ethnic Scrappy: Cpl. Manuel Ortiz, who was certainly one of the more tolerable and less played up ones.
- Fridge Logic: Okay, the alien is impervious to bullets and even a bazooka, but a blow torch finishes it off. None of the soldiers aimed for its eyes?
- More of a case of Kill It with Fire being its weakness.
- Narm: Imagine how much better the film would have been had the Big Bad not been a giant vegetable?
- It actually looks menacing when only seen in the shadows. Unfortunately the lighting for the cave broke hence the soldiers taking the fight outside where everyone can see the alien cucumber.
- Also narmy is the little girl dropping her doll.
- Retroactive Recognition: Peter Graves, of course, later starred in the Mission: Impossible TV series.
- Took the Bad Film Seriously: Peter Graves, Lee Van Cleef, and especially Beverly Garland give the film way more credit than its cheap script and shoddy special effects deserve.
