Ikue Ohtani
Describe Ikue Ohtani here.
Pi-Pikachu Pika Pi Pi chu Pikachu Pi chu-- *whap* Err...sorry about that.
She's mostly known for her rather genki voice and as a result tends to voice young or cute characters. She went on pregnancy leave from January to May 2006, during which her voice roles for Gash Bell, Detective Conan and One Piece were replaced though her voice role for Pikachu wasn't; the studio had many recordings to work with.
Notable roles by Ikue Ohtani:
- Elsa in Monster
- Himeko and Erika from Hime-chan no Ribon
- Gash Bell in Konjiki no Gash Bell
- Ion, Sync, and Florian in Tales of the Abyss

- Konohamaru Sarutobi in Naruto
- Makoto Saotome and Sister Miyako in Kannazuki no Miko
- Sailor Tin Nyanko in Sailor Moon
- Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya in Detective Conan

- Notably, Ms. Ohtani's voice for Pikachu is kept in pretty much every foreign dub as well, due to the fact that his Pokémon-Speak makes him The Unintelligible combined with being one of the few Pokémon species not to receive a Dub Name Change.
